Robert Allen “Blue” Burton, son of the late Alton and Rosie Lee Burton was born on December 2, 1941 in Beaumont, Texas. At an early age, he became a devout member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, where he later served as emeritus co-chair of the Board of Trustees.

Robert was hired by Texaco Refinery, which later became Huntsman, and remained there until he retired, after 33 years of service, in 2001.
