Margaret Amelia Parker Holmes

Ms. Margaret Amelia Parker Holmes was born May 27, 1952 to John Mack Parker, Sr. & Margaret Paul in Port Arthur, TX. She was raised in Port Arthur and attended school in PAISD. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1970. Margaret was a former employee of the MCM Eleganté Hotel in Beaumont, TX. She enjoyed cookouts with family and listening to music and dancing.

Margaret loved the Lord. On December 4, 2020, the gates of Heaven opened and God Welcomed her home. She was freed from all pain and suffering as she entered Heaven. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; John Mack Parker, Sr. and Margaret Paul Parker; her sisters, Sharron Gail Mansfield, Margery Elaine Powell and Linda Louise Powell and grandkids, Ranen James Holmes and Jonah Chase Holmes.

She leaves to celebrate her memories her daughter, Theresa Holmes Trent, of Cypress, TX, her sons, Chief Reginald “Soldier Boy” Holmes, Jr. (Rachel) of Olton, TX, Ryan Kevin Holmes (Britni) of Beaumont, TX; grandchildren, Jadarious Hamilton, Madison Holmes and Riley Holmes all of Beaumont; Caylah Trent, of Cypress, TX, Raegan Holmes, Rylan Holmes and Raysen Holmes all of Olton, TX; a sister, Jean Parker Bienvenue of Beaumont, TX; brothers, John M. Parker, Jr., Darrell K. Parker and Mark A. Parker (Sherrie) all of Port Arthur, TX, Michael W. Parker (Elise) of Duncanville, TX, and Terry V. Parker of San Antonio, TX; an aunt, Gloria Dean Jackson of Port Arthur, TX; an uncle, Warren Lee Paul of Los Angeles, CA; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews and friends.
