Donald Sostand

April 24, 1950 – October 7, 2020

Donald Sostand was born April 24, 1950 to the late Bernard Sostand, Sr. and Mary Sostand. He was the fifth of eight siblings. He was a 1968 graduate of Charlton-Pollard High School. Many know him as Don, Bob, or Bobbie. Donald had a very generous heart and lived a fun-loving, fulfilled life.

Donald was employed by the City of Beaumont for many years and later retired from the City of Port Arthur. He inspired many as he fought his illness with PRIDE, STAMINA and COURAGE.

On October 7, 2020, Donald fell asleep in death. The memories of his life will live forever in our hearts.

Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sostand; brothers, Raymond Sostand and Roland Sostand, Sr.

Donald leaves heartfelt memories to a very special friend; Relita Franklin; his sons, Eric (Janice), Derrick (Michelle), Donavan, David (Joyce), Donald (Sherrelle) and his 14 grandchildren. One sister, Judy Sostand-Guillory (Clifton) and four brothers; Bernard Sostand, Jr., Harold Sostand (Diane), Clyde Sostand (Nadine) and Clarence Sostand (Jackie) along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many friends.
