Carolyn Williams
December 25, 1946 – August 1, 2020
Carolyn Williams was born on December 25, 1946 to Beaurgard and Addie Mae Scott Williams, in Beaumont, Texas.
She was educated in Beaumont Public Schools and attended Charlton Pollard High School. Carolyn made her earthly transition to her Heavenly reward on August 1, 2020 at Sugarland Methodist Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents; Addie Mae Roberson and Beaurgard Williams; twin brother; Calvin Williams and sister; Mary Katherine Scott; and grandson, Joshua Williams.
She lived in Dallas, Texas where she was employed with Methodist Central Hospital in the Labor & Delivery department. Carolyn returned to Beaumont to help care for her mother and after she gained her Heavenly reward in August 1990, she moved to Houston, Texas.
She was employed with St. Joseph Hospital and later with Houston VA Hospital where she retired in December 2014 after 20 years. Carolyn was a faithful member of Joy Tabernacle Church under Pastor Michael P. Williams. The Lord led her to move to New Light Christian Center under Rev. Hilliard, and at the time of her passing she was a faithful member of Word of Restoration International Church under Pastor Perry.
Carolyn leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Calvin Royce Williams; granddaughter, Vlana Williams; grandson, Kaleb Haywood and Ivan Williams; siblings, Veola Ballard (Carroll), Josie Green, JoAnn Woods, C.W Scott, Donald Smith, Neva R. Jasper (James), Connie Baker (Melvin), Beaurgard Williams Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
He whispered, “My precious child, I love you and will never leave you, never, ever, during your trials. When you saw only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.”
