Bobbie Billy Doneghy was the 3rd of six daughters born to Vincent “Billy” and Elouise Wykoff on March 2, 1939 in Beaumont, TX.  She became a member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership Rev. O.B. Brent.  She worked faithfully in ministry until her health failed.

 

She was graduated from Charlton-Pollard High School in 1956 with a cosmetology license. She moved to Austin, TX where she resided until 1963 when she returned to Beaumont, TX.  Our mother worked hard to provide for her 4 children.  She worked as a Health Care Provider; the Head Start program; as a Technician at the Golden Triangle Dialysis Center; and as Administrative Support at the Texas Department of Corrections – LeBlanc Unit until retirement.

 

She is proceeded in death by her parents Vincent “Billy” and Elouise Wykoff of Beaumont; and sisters Betty Wimberly of Los Angeles, Maureen Broussard of Houston, and Cheryl Ann Wykoff of Arlington.

 

She leaves behind her companion Miller Rideaux of Beaumont, TX; children Denise M. Doneghy of Fort Worth, TX, William H. Doneghy, Jr. (Kathy) of Austin, TX, Patricia L. Jackson (Michael) of Houston, TX, and Reginald C. Doneghy of Beaumont, TX; two sisters Wonda L. Ceasar (Curtis) of Beaumont, TX and Beverly J. Wykoff of Fort Worth, TX; six grandchildren Heather R. Jackson, Christopher M. Jackson, Shanel N. Jackson of Houston, TX, Vincent M. Jackson of Plano, TX, Jeremy R. Doneghy of Baytown, TX, Chelsea R. Doneghy of Beaumont, TX; two cousins Margerine Bryant of Texas City, TX and JoAnn Comeaux of Beaumont, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to forever cherish the memories of her life.
